Can I get Kühl fan installed by a local electrician? Will the warranty still be applicable?
Kühl Prima series fans are simple to install and can be installed by any electrician. The warranty of these fans remains intact even if they are installed by local electricians. Kühl Platin, Kühl Luxus and Kühl Brise series of fans are complex and we recommend that these should be installed by our expert technicians. However, the warranty will remain intact if a local electrician is able to install these fans without damaging them.
Does company provide installation of all Kühl fans?
Company provides installation at no charge for Kühl Platin, Kühl Luxus and Kühl Brise series fans. Installation of Kühl Prima series is chargeable and can be provided on request.

How do I avail extended warranty?
There is no extended warranty applicable on Kühl fans. The company is not liable for extended warranty purchased from other vendors/service providers.
What is the warranty duration of accessories?
The warranty duration on accessories, specifically for IR remote, RF remote, Shackle & Bolt etc, is for six months from the date of purchase by the first end user.
Which Kühl models work with a fan regulator?
Kühl Prima A and A2 work with standard fan regulator.
Can I use a remote to control the regulator operated Kühl fans?
Kühl Fans that are regulator operated (Kühl Prima A & A2) cannot be operated using a remote.
Which type of regulator should I use in the regulator operated Kühl fans?
We recommend using the step-type fan regulator for optimal performance.
Which all Kühl models are remote operated?
Kühl Platin, Kühl Luxus and Kühl Brise series are remote operated fans. In Kühl Prima series, only Kühl Prima A1 and A3 are remote operated.
For remote operated Kühl fans, can I keep regulator on maximum speed instead of bypassing the regulator?
We recommend that you by-pass the regulator for remote operated Kühl fans. Keeping the fan regulator at maximum speed will also work but may not give optimum performance.
If I do not set fan regulator at maximum, what happens?
For remote operated fans, if regulator speed is not kept at maximum, then air flow of the fan may get compromised. Moreover, the remote may not work as desired. Therefore, we recommend to by-pass the fan regulator for remote operated Kühl fans.
Which type of remotes are supplied with Kühl fans?
Kühl Platin, Kühl Luxus and Kühl Brise series are remote operated fans. In Kühl Prima series, only Kühl Prima A1 and A3 are remote operated.
How do I operate a remote operated Kühl fan if the remote is lost/damage/not working?
For Kühl fans that have infrared (IR) remotes (Kühl Prima A1 & A3), you can always use the remote of a similar model if you own multiple fans of the same model. If you don’t have a similar Kühl fan at your home then you have to purchase a new IR remote.
Kühl Platin, Kühl Luxus and Kühl Brise series are Wi-fi & voice enabled fans. Therefore, you can also operate these fans using Amazon Alexa or Kühl mobile application for Android/IOS mobiles, in case the remote is lost/damaged/not working. If you insist on using only a remote for these fans, you may either purchase a new remote or pair a remote of a similar Kühl fan.
What is the difference in IR remote and RF remote?
IR remotes have to be pointed at the direction of the fan for the remote to operate. They typically work to maximum distance of 10 feet.
RF remotes need not be pointed at the fan for the fan remote to operate. Moreover, they can operate at a distance of up to 20 feet.

Kühl fans that come with IR remote can be operated with any other Kühl IR remote.

How do I change the colour of the Down Light?
The colour of the Down Light can be changed by pressing on the Down Light button of the remote. The sequence is On-White-Warm White-Yellow-Off.
There are dedicated colour buttons in the Kühl mobile application. If you have dedicated colour buttons on your remote, the same may be achieved by pressing button of the desired colour.
How do I change the intensity of a Down Light?
There is no option of increasing or decreasing the intensity of the Down Light.

What does Boost button do?
Boost button is a simple shortcut to take your Kühl fan speed to the maximum level.
Why do we have Reverse Mode in my Kühl fan?
Reverse functionality can be used specially in winters to rotate the fan blades in opposite direction. When the fan is operated in the reverse mode, cold air settled at lower level in the bedroom is lifted upwards and helps in raising the temperature of the room. Please note that fan speed is restricted to level 1 when the fan is operated in reverse mode.
What happens when I press Sleep button on the remote?
Sleep functionality is used for enhancing your well-being and comfort while sleeping at night. If sleep mode is enabled, the Kühl fan automatically reduces it speed by one level after every 2 hrs till the speed reaches level 1. It continues to work at level 1 speed until sleep mode is disabled or the fan is turned off.
Please explain Timer functionality?
Timer functionality is used for delayed stop. The timer is enabled for 1 hour, 2 hours & 4 hours, if we press the timer button once, twice or thrice respectively.
After the set time interval, the fan will automatically switch off. The timer mode can be disabled by switching off the fan via remote, mobile application or the main switch.

What should be the minimum distance between the fan and the ceiling?
The distance between Kühl Fan and ceiling should be at least 1 foot for optimal performance.
Is there a need of a voltage stabilizer for Kühl fan?
No, there is no need of a voltage stabilizer. Kühl fans support a wide range of input AC Voltage (130 – 280 Volt AC) and are resilient enough to support moderate voltage fluctuations. Moreover, they have in-built safety protections such as low and high voltage cut off.
Does Kühl fan work on a inverter?
